Henrik Mortensen: Professional Fly Angler, Fly Caster, Designer, Instructor & Author

Welcome to my homepage! For the last few years, many of my clients have been asking me to create an enviornment where they can learn more about my theories, activities and approach to fly casting and fly fishing. Finally here it is!

In 2006, my first book, “Fly Casting – Scandinavian Style,” was published in Denmark. It is currently available in Danish and German, and is in the process of being translated into various other languages, including English, Spanish and Icelandic. As soon as I receive publication dates I will announce them here.

Fly Fishing Academy, the DVD series that I launched in 2003, currently has four volumes. My goal is to release a new DVD each year, with the fourth volume, The Scandinavian Spey Cast, now available in stores worldwide.

Throughout the year in various countries I hold numerous fly casting and fishing schools, on average 150 seminars per year. Additionally, I am available for high-end private instruction for fly casting and fishing strategies. My specialities are salmon and seatrout.
